    16 Brussels Sprouts
    6 whole Star Anise
    1/4 cup Tomato chopped
    Zest of 1/2 Tangerine
    1 tsp Orange Marmalade
    1 tbsp Walnuts chopped
    2 tbsp Olive Oil
    1/4 cup Green Pitted Olives
    Juice of 1 Lemon
    1/4 tsp Vegetable Broth Powder
    1/2 tsp Red Chillly Flakes
    2 tbsp Basil
    2 tsp Parmesan Cheese
    8 Slices Garlic Bread

      Boil Brussels Sprouts Bring 2 liters of water in a sauce pan to a boil. Add brussels sprouts and cook for 8 minutes, until tender. They should retain their bright green color, and not turn an olive color. Drain and cool immediately.

      Prepare Vegetable Broth Mixture In the same sauce pan used for brussels sprouts, bring 1/4 cup (60 ml) of water to boil. Add vegetable stock powder and mix well for 30 seconds. Switch off heat and keep aside.

      Start with Tomato Mixture Heat non-stick pan over medium-high heat for 1 minute. Add olive oil, star anise and tomatoes. Stir in tomatoes till they are soft for about 3 to 4 minutes.

      Add other ingredients To soft tomatoes, add tangerine zest, marmalade, walnuts, chilly flakes, lemon juice (of 1 lemon), green olives, vegetable broth, salt and pepper to taste. Stir for 30 seconds.

      Add Brussels Sprouts & Serve Add boiled brussels sprouts and bring heat to low. Simmer the mixture for 5 to 6 minutes. Add basil and remove from heat. Sprinkle parmesan cheese on top. The juices and veggies will marry, and you will be left with a glorious veggie delight. Serve hot with Garlic Bread.
