Greek Sailor's Souvlaki with Tazataziki and Pitaby Cook Gourmet

INGREDIENTSPortion for 2

    6 bamboo skewers

    For Tazataziki
    1/2 cucumber grated
    200 gms yogurt
    2 clove garlic, minced
    1 sprig fresh dill, chopped

    For chicken
    Marinated chicken (contains oregano, garlic, lemon juice, olive oil)
    1/2 lemon juice

    For Tomato Salad
    1.5 tomatoes diced
    1/2 cucumber, diced
    1/4 onion diced
    1 tbsp olive oil
    1/4 lemon juice

    For Wrap
    3 pita breads divided into halves
    50 gms feta cheese

      For Tazataziki Sauce Drain excess water from cucumber by placing in a fine mesh for 5 minutes Combine yogurt, garlic, cucumber, dill, salt and pepper in a small bowl. Set aside in refrigerator to chill.

      For Tomato Salad Combine tomatoes, onion, olive oil and season with salt and pepper in a bowl. Toss to combine.

      Grill Marinated Chicken Divide marinated chicken into 6 skewers. In a non stick pan warm 1 tbsp of olive oil. Grill the chicken skewers, squeezing with juice from 1/2 lemon while cooking, until browned and no longer pink inside, about 4-5 minutes on each side.

      Finishing and Serving Heat the pita bread until warmed through, 1 to 2 minutes on each side. Top each heated pita bread half add chicken from 1 skewer, 2 spoonful of tazataziki sauce and tomato salad. Top with feta cheese.
