Korean Bulgogi - Style Chicken with Kimchi Saladby Cook Gourmet

Bulgogi, a Korean classic, calls for slices of beef; our version uses thinly sliced chicken breast, which barely has any fat at all. The chicken is best served with rice and lettuce leaves for wrapping. We are serving this with Kimchi salad, a spicy, garlicky Korean pickle made with cabbage, is specially on the side and is loaded with beneficial bacteria known as probiotics.

    Marinated Chicken Having
    400 gms Chicken Breasts
    3 tbsp Soy Sauce
    1 tbsp Sesame Oil
    1 tsp Honey
    1/2 tbsp Rice Vinegar
    1 tsp Pepper
    1/4 tsp Salt
    1 1/2 cup Scallions Chopped
    3 garlic Cloves Minced
    1 tbsp Ginger Chopped
    1 tbsp Sesame Seeds

    1 tbsp Vegetable Oil for Grlling
    1 tsp Sesame Seeds for Garnishing
    1/4 tsp Salt
    200 gms Kimchi Salad

      Transfer Marinated Chicken Transfer the marinated chicken to a large bowl.

      Grill Marinated Chicken Preheat a Non-Stick Pan for 2-3 minutes, to it add vegetable oil. Remove the chicken from marinade (keep the remaining marinade liquid for later use) On medium heat grill the chicken for 5 minutes on each side (10 minutes in total), until lightly charred and cooked through.

      Add Marinade Liquid. Reduce and Serve To the grilled chicken add the liquid marinade and reduce for about 2-3 minutes. Sprinkle with salt and sesame seeds; Serve with Kimchi Salad.
